25/09/09
Sterling Mills has announced that Marks & Spencer will be joining the tenant line up and opening an outlet store at the Tillicoultry Shopping Village later this year.
Paul Sutton, Retail Operations Director at Sterling Mills commented, “We are delighted to be able to bring such a high-profile retailer as Marks & Spencer to Clackmannanshire. Their presence will not only bring many more customers to the Village, but will also make it a more attractive proposition for other potential retailers.”
“Sterling Mills has worked closely with Marks & Spencer and we are thrilled that we have been able to make the changes necessary to accommodate their needs.”
Work has already begun to convert a number of existing units to a single space to accommodate the store. Marks & Spencer will start fitting out the store towards the end of September, with the store due to open in November.
The new M&S Outlet store offers Marks & Spencer products across womenswear including per una & lingerie, menswear, beauty and home. The majority of prices are at least 30% off the original main store price.
Nick Bullock - Head of M&S Outlet, says “We are very pleased to be opening in Sterling Mills and we anticipate the store trading very well. This development will bring the total number of M&S outlet stores in the UK to 50."
